Can we be done hating on him now for the things he's done in the past? With the contract and promises he's given just to be back in Miami, to me at least wipes the slate clean. I'll gladly let a team borrow a player for a year and in exchange get a second round pick for it. One that COULD bear very fruitful to our offense. He did all that stupid BS years ago, but I'll give him props for doing the right thing for his family and fans.

i was never angry with him in the first place. he's a big boy, not to mention a proven nfl player. let the man do what he wants.

I think he has learned from what he did in the past. I can't say that I agree with the way he went about the situation before he was traded but I think he finally realized that the grass is not always greenier on the other side and be a Redskin for a season was a reality check for him. I am glad he came to realize that Miami was his home and he took less money to be here with his friends and family. Hopefully he will be hitting the camps here pretty soon and we will be seeing a difference in his play vs him not going to camps.

I will admit, I was pissed at him last year, thankful for all he did here, but pissed. I am over it after the classy move to come back. Welcome back JT to where you always belonged!

Forgiven? No. The reason why he caused all the trouble last year leaves a sour taste in my mouth. To jump ship because he wanted a to be on a winning team was foul. That being said....

I am extremely impressed with the way he has handled this situation. He patched things up in the front office, he waited for us to figure out what were doing in the draft(there was a better than average chance of us grabbing a linebacker and waving goodbye to him), he seems to have rededicated himself to working out by hiring that personal trainer, and he took a massive "paycut" to be here.

If he shows up for team meetings and camps, than ill be more than happy to forgive all. Ill just have to wait and see.

All that aside, i feel this was a great pickup(money wise it was a steal, and if you count the compensation we got for him last year: it was highway robbery) and am extremely excited. If he can learn the "new" position quickly than he might just have elevated a good defense into a great defense. It does feel good to be able to wear his jersey again...

I don't know what else he could have done to demonstrate he is "with the program":
- offseason conditioning: check
- come to Miami for cheap so not to break the bank: check
- sign before OTAs: check
- say all the right things about being a Dolphin again: check

If he hasn't proven his dedication to south florida with that tiny contract he just signed, i don't know how he can. It is not like he didn't have other options!

Yes I have, soon after we went 11-5 and won the division!!!! Welcome back JT! Now he should be even more hungry than before for a SB!!

as long as he plays well i couldn't care less who he is, unless it's some criminal type.

Anything I said about Jason Taylor in regards to his antics last offseason, I don't regret a single word. Jason acted like a diva, and felt that he was bigger than the team. I don't care who it is, players who conduct themselves in that manner do not sit well with me.

That being said, the fact he decided to come home for lesser money, and be in on time for OTA's is showing me that Jason has been humbled by last year's experience. I still don't approve of what he did last year, but now that he's back it's a clean slate.

No. Just because he came back doesn't get him off the hook. He has to show leadership, get into the weight room with everyone else...and then he has to produce. If not, all he has done is stolen a position from some kid....
