Congratulations to the Dolphins, who are in the playoffs for the first time since 2008. And although coach Adam Gase deserves a lot of credit – he might be the NFL's Coach of the Year – it’s the players that really made this thing go.
The players made plays. It's something that sounds simple, but also something that eludes many NFLteams.
Gase and his coaching staff – headed by defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen and Darren Rizzi, assistant head coach/special teams coordinator – put the players in position to make those plays.
And they instilled the attitude and mentality to make things work. They did a great job leading this team to a 10-win season (with one game to play).

But let’s face it, just because coaches put, say, cornerback Tony Lippett is in position to get an interception doesn’t mean he’ll complete the play.

Stills, Parker, and Landry compliment each other very well. It is going to be hard to get Stills back though IMO.
