HBO sacks Inside the NFL

After hosting the highlights show for more than 30 years, HBO is dropping — or, best case, handing off — Inside the NFL, explaining that there is a plethora of other options for sports fans to get their fix. "It has been a terrific franchise," HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg tells the Hollywood Reporter. "But the television landscape has changed quite a bit... and we have to recognize the realities of the business."

The NFL says it plans to continue Inside the NFL this fall on another network and is in talks with at least three outlets to do so.

Wow, that's too bad. I grew up watching the show. I always loved "Where Are They Now" The show isnt quite as good as it used to be though. It was best with Nick and Len.

Gumbel wasn't on Inside the NFL.

They have ruined Inside the NFL the past few years anyway, I hope when they bring it back it comes back like it used to be w/ Len and Nick.
