I gotta believe there is a method to this madness.

If Cam comes on board then a guy like Garrett could possibly be groomed as the OC - he is young and up coming and could pick up a new system with Cam calling the shots. Possible because you have a guy like Capers who will run the whole D side of the house. Makes sense why they would hold on to Garrett for now.

If Mora comes on board you a guy who can bring and install an offense. Mike Shula gets teamed there. Capers may stay and Shula runs offense and Mora oversees everything.

If Gailey then Mularkey and Capers may stay since he knows them both well.

I hate the Gailey idea because he is not a good NFL head coach and Mularkey is not a good OC. Worst possible scenario.

Mora I like but I don't think his heart is in it. He is getting paid big for the next 2 years from Atlanta. Any money he makes gets deducted from that. He basically works for free the next 2 years. I think that is a bad move.

Cam is the only logical choice IMO. You could even possibly bring in Shula but my guess is Garrett if he hits it off with Cam and depnding on who he brings over.

Make Sense???

I'd like to see this:

Cam-Head Coach
Garrett-OC
Shula-QB coach.

I seriously doubt Shula would take the QB coaching job. He was an offensive coordinator in Tampa and a head coach at Alabama. Granted he had little success at either spot, but it would be a pretty big step down for him.

As opposed to the unemployment line? Cause that would be the next stop.

Currently, he's making about $65,000 a month while standing in the unemployment line.

Alabama alumni must have some deep pockets. Wait until Saban gets done with them! They won't need wallets anymore.

Gotta love how alot of coaches are turning down requests to interview with him. Just read a USC coach said no to even an interview. Great reputation you built Nick!

If Shula came on board you would see the reverse with Garrett I think. Cam knows offense - I don't see him bringing someone with a strong offensive background with another system - doesn't make sense. I don't see Shula and him a good fit but I guess you never know. I do like Capers staying with him though because that means he could dedicate his time to running and building the offense.
