Here is my thought. Mando said Philbin interviewing second time Wednesday, McCoy Thursday and Bowles is unconfirmed. If Philbin is 1st I think he is our first choice.
Here would be my ideal scenario.
Hire Joe Philbin as Head Coach.
Hopefully he could bring Tom Clements along as OC.
Then bring a guy like Kevin Greene along as DC. I think Kevin Green would be awesome as a DC. He would bring a punishing and attacking style ala his Steeler and Panther playing days. He has been a LB Coach and Defensive Assistant for years and would not only command respect but would have it from players. If not Greene, then maybe a Winston Moss as DC and Assistant Head Coach or a Darren Perry as DC?
What do you guys think of a scenario like that. I am predicting, JMO, but I think Philbin is announce as early as Friday so that we have a staff in place by the Senior Bowl!
