Just wondering...

After the 1st 2 games, many of us may had thought like "okay, they're winning...scraping by and grinding it out...but they're getting by. maybe they'll improve. i'm pretty excited..."

The last 2 games sort of showed us where they are as a team and we're now like "heads must roll." It feels rock bottom and spiraling downward veery fast. Nose-dive on monday night.

Is it time for Ross to be looking for a new HC?

Who would you bring in?

I've always been a big fan of Bill Cowher. He fits the winning tradition criteria and looks good sitting next to Marino on Sunday. I'm pipe dreaming but heck, what if he was the Miami HC and brought Marino as qb coach :) We'd all love that.

Seriously though, my top picks would be;
1. Cowher
2. Gruden
3. Chuck Norris (You know if Chuck were the head coach, we'd win the Superbowl during a bye-week)

I'd be fine with Cowher or Gruden IF we actually ended up tanking this season. Not now.

I also think Marino would be a terrible QB coach - he's a guy that did very well on natural ability and horrible fundamentals. Not exactly what you want from a coach. Pennington (a guy that overachieved due to excellent fundamentals and discipline) would be a good QB coach but he wants to coach high school.

Gruden, Cowher, anybody but Sparano.

Okay not anyone, but Gruden and Cowher would certainly be a start! Sparano HAS GOT TO GO!!!!!!!

Oh and be prepared to hear people bitching about another thread about Sparano, just saying.

We always have weird games against our rivals where we will be like jeckyl and Hyde out there.

Let's see how we do after the BYE, then we can call for heads

Yes, we did embarass ourselves on national tv, but we are 2-2. For ****'s sake, we started 0-3 the past two seasons!

Oh gosh, my bad...

But hey points well taken...

Yeah, I forgot about Penny as qb coach, that'd be awesome. Cowher or Gruden would be flat out intimidating!

o'course, Chuck as DL coach would be something too.

I'm cool with the thread, I didn't mean to sound hostile about it at all. In fact, I think we need to create a big, merged Fire Tony Sparano thread, but again, I will probably get flamed for even bringing up that idea.

I feel like such a prick for being so anti-Sparano right now, because he's such a great guy, but we all know 2008 was smoke in mirrors. This guy will never get any NFL team to the next level.

I didn't take it as hostile no worries. I hear ya man, he is a great guy and he helped bring us out from the 1-15 record Cam left us at. I think he's doing the best with what is available to him too. seems the jury still is out whether this 3rd season show's significant improvement. I hope he can...

I have grown increasingly unhappy with Sparano but no change is needed now or during the season. Depending how the season unfolds will determine his fate at the end of the season.

These next 4 games will tell a lot..... I love Sparano, but I do believe that we will always be a 8-8....9-7.... team with him as HC.

SPARANO IS MY HERO AFTER 08, but i've got a question can u still trade 4 a HC in this league?
