for me, that was a very small hint, i'm on the west coast, except for the canes and the teams they play i don't follow east coast teams.;)
 
I have to disagree with that article. Paterno was offered a HC job, but not with the Dolphins. In 1973 he was offered the job by the Patriots. Living here in Pa. and being a PSU fan, I remember this story.

In 1973 the owner of the Boston Patriots, Bill Sullivan, offered Paterno $1.4 million a year plus a 5 percent ownership stake in the franchise to be its head coach. At the time, Paterno was making $35,000 a year at Penn State.
