Heat News: Butler May Be Traded

Butler is still involved in trade rumors. Personally, I'm not a Heat fan. Though I did find the Jimmy Butler/Michael Jordan paternity rumors interesting. I was never big on Dwyane Wade (they did him dirty on that statue) but have always been a fan of Lebron as a player. I hope you enjoyed him while you had him.
I've been a Celtics fan as long as I have been following basketball (about 37 years--I started paying attention to it when I was 7 or 8). I was fan through the last couple years of the Bird era (favorite player of all-time), the Reggie Lewis death, the horrible ML Carr years, the even more horrible (because of expectations) Pitino years, the Pierce stabbing, the O'Brien era, the resurgence of the C's after Danny Ainge traded for Ray Allen and Garnett, the 2008 title, 2009/10 (would have gone back to back to back if not for the Garnett injury in 2009 and the Perkins injury/horrible officiating in 2010), and all periods since. They are an absolute joy to watch right now with their ball movement.

Riley is making a mistake saying that he won't trade Butler.
Now is the time to do it. He is 35. It makes no sense to sign him to a long term extension.
I think the Warriors would make a lot of sense since they have a lot of good young talent we could acquire to build for the future.
This team even with Butler is not a Championship contender so shake things up.
I know Riley is into big game hunting but we don't have the assets to acquire a super star. He needs to pivot and build a solid young team.
