“I like the work ethic, and the fact he’s a coach’s son. I like the people he has around him. I like his agent. I like the PR guy he has from The Agency in NY, Jordan Bazant, who’s going to keep him from getting distracted. Everyone loves to focus on football agents, but it’s the PR agents who do the most damage, because they keep these guys so busy. So he’s surrounding himself with great people.”
Evans then addressed what he called the “prototypical” frame the 6-foot-4, 220-pounder brings to the game.
“If you wanted to build a quarterback, you’d build him with that arm strength, his frame, athleticism, mental understanding of the game, and his base foundation. You give a great foundation to (Dolphins coach) Joe Philbin to build on.”
