Hell yeah! What a game, but what is up with the conditioning of our team?

Id like to see Clay used more as a rusher on 3rd and short. Thomas can't get it done.

As for the defense being tired...if we convert a few more of those 3rd and shorts it's an entirely different game and the time of possession isnt so drastic.

on another note, this team needs to work on their 3rd and inches. just run it up the middle or qb sneak it…tired of these zone outside runs with inches to go.

QB sneak would have been appropriate there. Agreed these 3d and short calls are horrible.

I know our defense was on the field pretty much the entire 3rd quarter, but jesus, they were winded the entire 2nd half. Are we professionals? Come on!

Did you eat paint chips when you were a kid???? Very short week, defense defended against 100 plays against an awesomely well balanced offense. I really don't understand your logic, they were brilliant tonight except on third and longs, but they still won tough. Pick a different fight dude

There were many times tonight when I was happy that the Bengals had a 3rd and short as I knew we had a great chance to stop it. Whenever we had 3rd and long I just knew we were going to give it up. This may be the worst 3rd and long defense I've ever seen from Miami.

Sad that we feel that way, but on the plus side at least we're good on 3rd and short. At some point we've got to start becoming at least average on 3rd and long, right?

the thing that concerns me most about this game is our inability to not be able to pick up a 2nd and 3rd and 1 ever,

it has become a too familiar trend. not just tonight, but vs the saints, ravens, every game i feel.

we won and we r all happy, and we should ****ing be, but for future games, if we want to make a push, that is essential being able to pick up these short yardage plays.

Just ask Sherman next time he calls a 8 yd pass on 3rd and 1 again. WHY does this guy not trust the short rush? Even a QB sneak?

Yeah, Bengals had the ball almost all the third quarter and when the offense did get the ball they were three and out. No team is in that good of condition.

Mike Sherman is killing me. And I've defended him. I've been that guy who blames the players for 90% of the team's struggles. Not anymore. Put the damn players in spots to win the game. Don't call a ****ty slow developing run on 3rd and inches with no goddamn fullback on your roster. Sneak the damn ball with your 6'4" quarterback or use his good wheels to play fake and roll him out.

We did run a QB sneak on our TD in the 1st half.
