Hey guys so I live in manhattan, i moved from my last apartment shortly after the season ended and my new building has no direct tv access.

I am freaking out i havent missed a dolphin game in well over 20 years.

i saw one game last season on this service:

http://www.zeropaid.com/news/9122/How+to+Watch+NFL+Games+For+Free

and i have also looked into getting a slingbox

http://www.slingmedia.com/

anyone else have any ideas, the season is rapidly approaching and i hate the idea of going to bars to see the games, I need to have privacy and zero distractions when I watch the fins play.

Will your new building allow you to get Direct TV yourself.. I mean Direct TV will come out and install your Dish on your new apartment as long as it's permitted.

There is no way to get live feeds to my knowledge without Sunday Ticket. Your best choice is find a sports bar in your area that shows all the games and head there every week. I did this when DirectTV was launched until I started getting my own home subscription in the fall of 1997.

I understand you want zero distractions and all, but some large sports bars have sections where games are shown so fans of that game only watch it. I met quite a few cool Dolphin fans I started seeing on a weekly basis due to this. Although at the time I lived in Seattle, and it was strange watching early games from a bar at 10am on Sundays. I can't really drink alcohol during Fins games (takes away my edge, haha) so I saddled up to some Coke and popcorn.

Sorry, this is the best I can offer you. Give the sports bar option a chance.

If u have a southern facing sliding window, u can build a stand and set up your satellite inside. I had to do that one year when I lived in an apt. that didnt allow dishes on the roof. You just cant close the window or you'll lose the feed. Good luck!

I have the best site because where I live i can not order mlb ticket for the mets and i can not order sny i just tv ants and sopcast go to myp2p.eu dl both that siter carries live streams to mlb, football, nhl any sport its great site and its free

Do you ahve any friends that own or rent a house? See if you can talk them into getting it and you'll pay for it.. or maybe you have a friend that wants the ticket but doesnt wanna shell out the money, in that case split the cost with them.

Like the other guy said, buy a stand for the dish. I think you can probably get one at best buy or home depot. I know they're out there. I see them all the time tailgaiting. And I wouldn't tell my apartment complex, just do it. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

What if we already have comcast? FOr w/e stupid reason they don't offer an NFL package...there's no way to watch games live?? I live up in Mass so I only get to see them when they play NE....:boohoo:
