What do you do Mopar? The area is booming. St. Johns Co. St Augustine, Nassau, Co. Fernandina Beach, and surrounding counties are all beginning to pop. Jobs should not be very hard to find. A good start would be check jobs in the "Florida Times Union" Jax. area highset circulation news paper. Do a job search on www.monster.com.

edit: You are going to find that the cost of living is much cheaper in this area than NY. So don't let the rate of pay scare you off.

Yes, as a recruiter/headhunter I would have to agree that a lil more information would be helpful. Otherwise, go to careerbuilder/monster put it key words as to what you do and then do a search for florida/jacksonville.

thanx for answering guys..sorry it took so long to reply but things are pretty hectic right now. My trade is apartment maint.. i've got around 20 years in that field..also an auto mechanic...but i would be interested in anything that puts food on the table and shoes on the feet..thanx again my fin brothers...bob

I know they have a hub for UPS in Jax. you might want to try it, you will have to start part time but you get full medical in 90 days for you and your family for free. Actually you can go to UPSJOBS.com and apply online. If you can handle the work its a great place to start and driving jobs are definately a good thing. I am a driver in Orlando and make excellent money.
