My heart is telling me to start L. Gorden, but if I wasn't such a HUGE Fin fan would I start Deshawn Foster ? What should I do ? Who will have a bigger week ? Thanks

Start Foster. He'll be money. I have both players on one of my teams, and that is what I'm doing.

While you should never cheer as a fan for something to happen that will be hurtful to the Dolphins just because it will give you fantasy points, you should also not let your Dolphins bias harm your fantasy team. Gordon is a less certain quantity than Foster is. Make the safe play.

I agree with all of JJ's points, but you may also want to consider that Steve Smith is out, so KC may play to stop the run and make Carolina's weakened passing game beat them. I think Cincy will be playing to stop the pass with us.

shouright,

Your faith in the KC defense far exceeds mine. I don't think they could stop an old lady from crossing the street.

I honestly think both of them are alright starts. My only comment is that you saw what Curtis did to the Bengals.

That certainly does cut in favor of Lamar, but we also have to remember he has had all of one full week with this team. I just see it as an unnecessary gamble when Foster is also available.

I have Gordon starting over Rudi J, Thomas Jones, and Chris Brown. But if I had Foster on my team I would definitely go with him. He is a huge factor in that game with the injuries of Smith and Davis and while both Cincy and KC's defense are both horrible, Foster knows the Panthers system better and is a proven commodity. My heart says Gordon, but if you want the sure thing go with Foster.

Bettis is the sort of fantasy player I absolutely hate. He's going to apparently get you gooseggs or glory all season. I wouldn't start him over either guy. In fact, I would only start him if I had no other options. As you can tell, I am risk averse in fantasy football. I'm no Wanny, though -- I have 4 championships in 5 years in my main league. Despite my domination of the championships, it's quite a competitive league.

No way you go with Bettis, especially this week. He's playing a pissed off Baltimore Defense that will most definitely shut down Pittsburgh running attack. And Besides, how often are you going to see 5 carries for 1 yd and 3TDs? Not gonna happen against the Ratbirds.
