When Chad Henne got drafted, he did not look happy at all :err:. It worries me looking at his facial expression on this video. I know a lot of us noticed that. On the other hand; Did you see Beck's reaction during the 2007 draft? did you see his excitement of becoming a Miami Dolphin? any thoughts?

Here is the video when Henne got drafted:

Beck probably hated playing for the Dolphins three starts in when he was getting nailed every play.

......what the hell does this have to do with anything? Are you kidding me, now were comparing the two by their facial expression. Such a meaningless thread. The best player will win this competition...not the best facial expression. :rolleyes2::rolleyes2:

I support Henne and Beck, I would love to see both of them succeed in the NFL. I just wanted to show how Beck and Henne reacted during draft day, that's all. Did you read my thread? I did not say nothing bad about Henne or Beck. I think you need to go to an anger management class or something like that. :err:

How about you throw Quinn's expression up there after we passed on him at 9, and compare that to Henne?

i wouldn't put too much into it...... he probably thought he was going higher and why wouldn't a rookie qb be happy to go to a team where he can start right away? what i found actually odd is his reaction the jake long question. it sounds like they have a business like relationship and nothing else really off the field.

Are we really having a thread about the facial expressions of our two quarterbacks on Draft Day? C'mon, this is silly.

I have won a few titles in martial arts, whenever I got the trophy I couldnt smile and woop but had a fixed 'manly' nod. I was extatic inside. This may mean nothing but Chad may be that kind who doesnt wear his heart on his sleeve all the time. He may have been happy inside but wanted to appear cool and in control, also he may have been more relieved than happy in which case he would want to appear cool.

Now if I was Chad id want to stick it to those teams that made me sweat an extra round... those that should have picked him and didnt...a bit like Quinn if he ever faces us.

Do we have a clip of McCown's face when he got signed? Then we can compare all three and predict who'll win the battle in camp!

I do agree that Beck has a certain enthusiasm and positivity that's probably rare, and hopefully infectious to his teammates. That being said, all of that doesn't matter until you can PRODUCE, and we're still trying to find a QB that can perform at a very basic level. THEN we'll start worrying about whether they smile wide enough, play pranks on their teammates, holler loud enough in the huddle, or any of those other intangibles.

If he plays up to his ability, he'll make that money back. There are too many players out there that feel they should be paid out the yin yang up front, then don't perform

Here's a thought : Let it go!! I mean, the guy is fine and is happy to be here. People think waaay too much about silliness like this. I guess it is one of the downsides of a message board. You can over analyze things way too much and this is a classic example of it.
