Is it just me or does it seem like Chad Henne has a good idea how to utilize Tedd Ginn? He had some nice plays with Ginn and I know its only preseason but... playing against each other in college seems to be a benefit for the both of them, doesn't it?? I'm really liking the way Henne is making himself assertive on the QB situation, our recievers look good with him. Season is about to start, and with PennyHenne it looks to be an exciting one!

It's gonna be funny seeing a former Michigan Wolverine hooking up with a former Buckeye.

I don't really think playing against each other in college has had any benefit at all in any kind of chemistry they may be developing. I think it's more so them being together during OTA's and Training camp and the throw after throw after throw they've had together. That seems to be paying off and I do see a start of a nice duo here, but I saw it with Pennington as well. I think you have two quarterbacks who are cut from the same cloth in realizing that knowing your receivers and building a relationship with them can only help you both. But I think it comes more from experience and hours of practice than the two of them playing against each other in college.

I don't know how funny it's gonna be, but, it's sure gonna be fun for Dolphins fans once Henne is finally handed the keys. I hope you're looking at the new QB/WR Duo in the NFL. Marino/Clayton, Montana/Rice, Manning/Harrison, Henne/Ginn Jr. :hi5:

I'm not saying playing against each other formed a bond or anything. I just meant Henne knows what Ginn is capable of, and he's got a good arm so... having an idea of what kind of reciever you're throwing to helps, practice helps, no doubt, I wasn't discrediting practice. It is crazy though having Jake Long, Ted Ginn, and Henne all on the Phins! Hell yea!

I haven't seen anything special in forms of a Ginn/Henne chemistry.

However, a Pennington/Ginn chemistry is definitely there. Ginn might as well been a ghost until Pennington showed up.

I never did see a good angle on the long catch rules out of bounds - did any of you?

I totally agree, receivers were having issues until Pennington showed up. I see the same thing happening with Henne that happened with Beck, everyone expecting the next Marino to show up, didnt we learn our leasson from Beck. Let the kid prove something before we annoint him the next legend. Henne is more than capable but let him develope first.

yeah, but does henne know how to utilize ted ginn's family? that's the real question.

I think all the "Ginn/xxxx" chemistry posts are more an indication that Ginn is really starting to get open. All of the quarterbacks seem to find Ginn - that probably means he's getting open more than it means he has a bond with any specific quarterback.

Thats how i envision henne/Ginn being

It has less to do with any quarterback combination and everything to do with the fact that Miami, possibly, could actually have decent WR's that were just waiting around for a QB to get the ball to them. Just looking at it from a fantasy standpoint, having an accurae QB in Pennington in there, it's entirely possible you could see Ginn get a ton of receptions this year.

You could see Chad turn into Fiedler 1.5, too, considering the lack of velosity on many of his throws, but still, I'd take Fiedler production over anything we've had recently.
