It's pretty obvious by most here that the last 2 yrs, Henne was the only player on the field for the Fins offense. There were no OL not getting the job done, no WRs dropping balls or not getting open or running poor routes, no TEs that didn't have the speed to bust the seams for Henne, no RBs that either didn't have holes to run thru or didn't see those holes or were injured half the season...every poor play was Henne's fault because, according to many here, he was the only player on the field...

It should be the most discussed. It's the most important position in football and it's the only one the team hasn't addressed. I imagine it will be like this all season, whether he turns it around or not.
Oh I wasnt complaining. And I agree most important position on the team.

Just curious if Chad Henne's Lifetime FH Post would be longer then Pat White or John Becks?

No worries, it didn't seem like you were. Definitely longer than those two. I'd bet it will end up being in the Fiedler range.

Henning doesnt affect Henne's accuracy, leadership, or decision making.

He does when he yanks him out for wildcat, and does mind boggling playaction on
3rd and 27. That can mess with a YOUNG qbs head and leave the players to questioning the OC. Hennings systems was all on the QBS execution. Dabolls is a QB friendly system that gets the ball out quick and im sure Henne will be fine.

I've seen the same things out of Henne as all of you. What gives me hope? A new offense, new weapons, a reinvigorated Marshall, a better line, and this being his 3rd season.

What concerns me? Decision making late in games, lack of anTE that can really threaten the seam, and the fact that, for the most part, Henne is the same guy he was when he started as a freshman at Michigan. Almost to a T.

That said, we have plenty reason to be optimistic. This defense is developing a swag about it, and the offense became more lethal.

I've created a freaking monster thread! I hit a raw nerve. :dolphins:

I voted no for the following reasons:

He is indecisive with the ball.
He locks onto receivers.
He is extremely late in delivering the ball.
His accuracy is so sporadic it's not funny.

If you want to blame the OL then you can count on it being more of the same because they will still be coached by the same inept coach who was supposed to be a guru. If you want to blame the WRs, try catching balls when your QB does those things I listed above. Our RBs are still a question mark.

So where do you see where this ability for Henne to "light it up" is going to come from?

Well said, maybe a bit too logical though

Not a chance...He will be pulled by the start of week 6 after we go 1-4

I humbly declare my error in stating Over The Top because what I truly wanted to mean was Vast Improvement instead. My mistake. I phrased it wrong.
