.....AND IF F'ING LOVE THAT!~! Man I like this kid. He was like the ESPN superstar after the game. Every question he answered he didnt crack a smile. They try to get him to say he was nervous or thrown off by the wildcat package he just told them straight up, I can handle anything. Reminds me of Marino. I love dan but he was a tool when he was playing but he was the general!!

P.S If we didnt get screwed on that PI call The score would have looked better for Henne today!

I'm sold on Henne. This dude has IT. The IT that every Dolphins fan has been looking for from a starting QB since Marino hung it up. Incredible poise and presense in the pocket, unbelievable leadership, and some of the finest throws I've ever seen. Dude was money last night.

Penny also had "IT" but he didn't have the physical tools to back it up like Henne...

The Henne era has arrived and I love it!

Arsenal, I dont think it takes anything away about Penny. Penny has it in a different way. In his accuracy and study of the game. He just didnt have the cannon. As a matter of fact I think it was becuase of Penny that Henne has improved and can improve if he continues to tutor him.

Although he looked pretty good last night, let's not get carried away just yet. He only looked OK against the Bills and until he puts together a few more good (doesn't have to be great) performances, I'd be careful about declaring him our next "franchise" QB. I'm as hopeful as the next fan, but I've seen some QB's have one or two good games and then disappear.
Here's to hoping my over-cautionism is for naught!

If Henne showed us his real game last night – the game he can produce on a consistent basis, then we’re in great shape for years. Henne displayed the “total package” with rifle shots, touch passes, deep ball and short to medium passes – all with accuracy and timing.

In addition, he looked very poised in the pocket and exhibited a degree of awareness I didn’t think he had. In every way Henne looked like and played like a real Pro last night, certainly not a guy making his second NFL start.

I’ve been skeptical on Henne a little, and have questioned passing of Ryan in favor of Jake Long. If last night is for real, then we made the right choice for sure – regardless of how Ryan develops.

Speaking of Jake, he was a terrorist last night – ESPN had an iso shot on him with an absolute pancake power slam dunk on the DE. It was the kind of absolute man-handling you rarely see in the NFL these days – and Jake certainly made a huge statement with it.

Of course the entire OL was awesome last night in both run blocking and pass blocking, and THAT makes all the difference in the world for Henne. But still Henne executed, brilliantly on that 3rd down at the 16 on that last drive, and gave us a HUGE uplift offensively. Teams will have an entire different issue preparing for the Offense with him pulling the trigger – and that should help the Cat as well as open the entire field.

no i agree... im just saying we had a QB with IT, but now we have a QB with IT that doesn't have those limitations Penny had...

Chad Henne is the freaking man. We have our QB. Man, I feel uber gitty. We have been searching for this guy for 10 years. He will have down games, but he is the MAN

he definately was

Henne was fearless. No way am I gonna say he's the next Marino but I really really liked what I saw last night.

He was making throws that Pennington definitely couldnt make and we need that.

The rest of the AFC East has no chance over the next 10 years.

Parcells is slowly but surely building a powerhouse team.. Just watch us totally dominate good teams in a couple of years.

We're going places folks. The Dolphins are coming back, in a big way.
