I know its just pre-season but Henne has looked like the real deal, he has poise and metal toughness to be a great QB in this league. That one play where he pulled the ball back as he was about to through and then shuffled the ball to a receiver for a first down remined me of Brett Favre. I'm not saying his the next Brett Favre or anything but the sign's are looking really good with him.

Pre-season or not, he looks pretty good. Don't be afraid to say we got 2 pretty good QB's on the roster. We've waited a long time for this and deserve to say it out loud.

Miami has 2 good QB's on the roster. One probably will be great. Man he looks good for a rookie huh?

Oh man I'll Say. The pocket presence, arm strength and decision making were very impressive. I was hoping for Ryan at the draft but man they look like the got it right.

He looks good for a rookie that is for sure. Could end up being a good one.

I was very happy with how Henne played in the preseason. I do believe he is the long term answer we have been searching for.

If everything goes right, Henne won't see the field again in 2008. It would be nice to have him sit his rookie season, as Carson Palmer did, and watch the veteran(Pennington) play the season. Henne's time is 2009 and beyond!

dont likethe 2 pics or the many checkdowns. but he has looked real good otherwise. stays in the pocket and delivers his throw doest get rattled

I know everyone is very high on Henne and I have liked what I've seen in the preseason but he has to Stop staring down his WR's so often. I never really saw him play in college that much but this was a knock on him and I'm seeing it here so far. Now this is a problem that is certaintly correctable but it's going to take time. A lot of people here seem to think he could be ready to start right now but I just don't think he'd be that effective vs. starting defenses for full games..... not yet anyway. I do think Henne starts the season in 09 whether he's the best QB or not just because Parcells and Co. will want to get the ball rolling with him but as of right now I'd say we'd win more games with Pennington at the helm even next year.

Agreed, but it's good it happens to him in the preseason so he can learn from it before it counts. When they showed him on the sidelines after one of the picks, he looked extremely angry! It reminded me of how mad Marino used to get after a pick. If this kid has THAT kind of competitive nature, the future may be pretty bright for the Fins!

I bet Henne realizes that he has a very tough boss these days. If he messes up, he's gonna hear about it.

Sparano sounds like the kind of coach where if he's yelling at you it means he thinks you have a lot of potential and he wants squeeze out every ounce of talent you've got. Henne shouldn't take it personal. Henne should see how Jon Gruden yells at his QBs with the Tampa Bay Bucs. That's what you call yelling. Sparano gets frustrated. Maybe it's an Italian-American thing ... growing up in New Jersey with a tough father or something.

Agreed to a point but he's a rookie. Once he adjust to the increased speed of the game and less reaction time it will come. Plus another reason Pennington is here. I was more excited for that because from what I had heard and seen from Chad in the past he is a teacher. Put Pennington's brain in Henne's body and you have one hell of a QB. He's hear to give Henne time to develop and show him the ropes. Love this QB situation, plus a solid oline to stand behind helps. All these will only gettin better with time as the season goes on it will improve dramatically.
