With the Bills game approaching you can see the Henne expectations starting to grow out of control as the fans slowly tie him down. One false move Henne

After reading the retarded posts after the last couple weeks, it would appear the fans already put sparano, parcells, and ireland under that.

We gotta give this guy a fair shake. One game can't be the breaking point. We got to keep our composure.

Agreed, people need to understand that QBs don't nomally become great or even good overnight, they slowly grow as they learn the position.

can we make this a sticky and then list all the knee-jerk whiners?

I hear you, but if things don't go well Sunday you know the short bus riding, chicken littles will be out in full throat. That's life here on FH.

I will be critical of his play but I want him to be the QB long term for us. I know he will make mistakes, I just hope they are not the same mistakes.......I also want to see improvement as the game goes on.....this is a process and winning right now, IMO, is 2nd to the development of Henne (over the next 3 games). I want the offense to look, act and attack different under Henne than with CP. I have all the confidence in the world in our FO and coaching staff when they say Henne is the real deal.....I hope to see some of that myself over the next few weeks........

Edit; I will not be one of those calling for his benching after a couple of games or saying he's a wasted pick because we are 0-6. My goals for this team have changed and Henne development is number 1.

Henne haters, and knee jerkers will be out and about for sure. If Henne happens to have a good game there will be a love fest however. It's quite nauseating.

Sometimes I wonder if being able to see people face-to-face would tell us anything about their preference or dislike for our various QBs. :)

Our QB's have not done anything yet. In the best case scenario Henne will light up the Bills this week. On the other hand, he may get yanked for Thigpen at halftime. Who knows.
I think this season is about answering the QB question for years to come.
I would really love to see our offense come alive under Henne and our hopes for a winning season renewed.
