Henne to start over Pennington?

At some point in the season if we are not doing so good, but Pennington will start. Pennington has the lead he led us to the first TD drive this season. Henne as good as he has looked has yet to do that.
 
so no chance that Merling is a starter, huh? I thought he would have a shot, but if Langford has all but locked up his spot, that would mean that Merling would have to beat out Holliday to start. Can't really fault a rookie for not being able to unseat Vonnie just yet.
 
Armando=Moron that never gets crap right and his opinions smell like a trash receptical that hasn't been cleaned in years. He is one of the reasons Miami writers and press is the worst in all of sports.
 
Can't see Henne starting the season as the #1. But can see him in there by maybe week 8 or 9 if we are below .500
 
henne has looked good but i dont think should start this season. give him a year behind penny.
 
Henne starting depends on how Pennington looks. The minute Pennington start acting up Henne will be plugged in, you think Pennington does not know he has to play the best ball he has played in years.

No wonder he is holding classes with the rest of the offense after Practices. The guy is doing everything to better himself and the team this year, and has become a great leader for this team. Pennington knows he is walking on a thin line, and that is why I think Pennington will give it his all. I love the competation this year.
 
Why tell anyone who your starting Qb is going to be anyway, unless its obvious. Let the Jets get ready for both Qbs. More work for them more confusion. But right now, Penny is the QB that is most prepared to start week one.

he might not start but he will get lots of playing time. Vonnie might go to the OLB spot and merling will take his spot or Vonnie might go to the DT spot on passing downs and merling will take vonnies spot. ether way both will get lots of playing time. langford was set in stone to start from day one. hands down hes the perfect player for the 3 4 let alone for the LE. can't get any better of a mold than that. Vonnie might get released next year with merling taking his spot and allowing us to spend that money free'd up to go after Asomougagagagaghahah from Oak. :) well maybe its just a dream of mine loll but we can dream can't we? :lol:
 
There is NO WAY Henne starts the season....NO WAY they will pass up an opportunity to let Pennington get revenge and torch the JETS!
 
This is obviously just the depth chart for the preseason, lets see what it looks like after preseason.
 
When defenses game plan you, I think you will see the real Henne. He may look good in a preseaon game but he's not yet ready to face real NFL defenses.

Penny had played 8 seasons in the AFC East, he knows the in and out of each teams. Let him show Henne how to get it done.
