i figured we should start the debate now.. i like chad henne.. 4 year starter.. productive.. great mechanics.. great arm.. came from the same system as brady (yes i am a michigan fan)... i like brohm too.. not big on flacco though.. he is big and a good arm but is from 1-AA.. dont know if i agree on drafting a subdivision player that high

I don't see the problem with drafting a 1-AA Qb if he is talented enough. I just don't know much about the guy.

I definitely do not agree with you about Henne. Big 10 competition is majorly overrated besides Oh St and look at how they faired vs top notch competition the last few seasons.

I think Brohm has the talent and experience to be a solid pick over Henne.

With that said, if we decide to draft a QB on Saturday, we should offer whatever pick we plan to use to draft a QB and offer it to the Browns for Quinn. He is one season ahead of the rest of them and there will be a very good chance that the top 3 QBs will be off the board when we are ready to pick one up.

No Thanks!

i would love to see that happen with quinn.. but i think it is only in our wildest dreams.. browns will only want a first rounder for quinn, if at all

Henne sucked I was hearing about him and never saw him play. When I did I wasnt impressed at all. If we dare draft a pick on a QB it has to be Brohm or wait to the sixt round for a colt brennan.

i think tuna realizes that this all isnt a quick fix.. i think we all are wanting to solve all of our problems now.. maybe we just wait and see how beck does as a full year as a starter.. we do have some wholes.. we need TE, DE, OLB/IB, corner, maybe a safety, and lets not forget we are looking for a number 1 receiver still

Brohm has the skill to be a solid NFL QB, look at the completion %.

And if Beck sucks, we will have a top 5 pick next year where we can grab a new QB. Who might be entering the draft next year that would be a top QB?

love Brohm. not necessarily big on taking a day 1 qb two years in a row, but Brohm presents too much value at #32 to pass up. if he's gone, i'd look into day 2 guys Ainge, Dennis dixon, Josh Johnson, John David Booty

Paul Smith baby!!! The kid has a gun and has proven to be a decent scrambler.

Exactly. If Beck fails, we need to acquire a "franchise QB." since there are none in this year's draft, we go with Beck for better or worse, and grab our next QB at the top of next year's draft if he doesn't get the job done.

Guarantee Parcells wants Flacco... Henne is a smokes screen. Dunno just a hunch.
