This looks to be a great match up for years to come. I hope Henne continues to progress this season and Sanchez too. Last nights game was a preview for years to come. looks like these two are going to be battleling each other in great games for some time. the first meeting last night was a classic and im so proud that Henne came out victorious. Both made great plays and they came through when their teams needed them.

Everybody keeps saying what a great QB battle it was and Steve Young even so far as to say it was the best "young" qb battle he's ever seen. Well I just don't see it, I think Henne played GREAT, but Sanchez..... not so much. Sanchez was like 12-24, and he got bailed out by a Sick catch by braylon and several defensive penalty's other than that he had a below average game. When the hell did 50% completions become a good game???
 
I was thinking the same thing. This could possibly be the next Jay Cutler vs Phillip River.

That sick catch was also an amazing throw as was the deep ball over 2 defenders to Clowney. those throws were much more impressive than hitting a wide open ted Ginn down the field. Both QBs played very well.

I still didn't see it.... He also missed some open throws and the throws to Braylon were basically just passes he put up for grabs. The one to Clowney was perfect but come on.... you complete 50% of your passes and had a great game? It's not even like the Phins D played that well either and he still put up mediocer numbers. If Jets don't convert either of those fake punts and they don't get the PI call on the goal line then Jets probably lose by 10+ and everyone would be saying that Sanchez had another bad game.

Sanchez and the Yets were helped oby the refs for a tune of like 100 yards and the two fakes were brilliant..., had the Fins got the ball back when they should have in the first half this game could have got one sided...

He did miss some open throws as did henne. Both QBs struggled in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs and both played excellent in the 4th.

We did convert those fake punts and he did play well- really well in the 4th making plays to help us win but our D couldn't hold it.

How so? You want to whine about the PI on Braylon ok but what other bad calls do you think there were?

Your O didn't score in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs so even ahd we not fake punted we still get the ball back in the game w/ chances to score.

Kerry Rhodes dropped an INT he would have returned fopr a TD had he been looking for the ball and not a big hit. Those plays happen every game.
 
It must be nice to have so much faith in your QB. I know damn well if any Miami QB went 12-24 and we lost there wouldn't be so much optimism about that guy here.

That was a great throw by Sanchez. He played a very good game. You have to watch a game to know how somebody played in it. You cant just look at the stat line.
