Henne's first real start...

No matter who the QB is usually their first real NFL start does not go well... I expect him to throw at least 2 picks and have trouble reading the defense and even more trouble confusing the defense with his eyes/pump fakes. He's most likely comfortable with the offense overall (after a year of sitting) but still his first real start he's gotta be nervous and I expect him to stare down receivers too often and get picked off...

Still though the Bills are not as good a team as us and we can most likely win the game with our running game/defense alone... I just really don't expect Henne to light it up his first game like a lot of people are thinking he will.. maybe in his 4'th start, but not in his 1'st.

I think Henne's career will be decided more by the protection he gets than anything else. When he has time, he looks great. When he does'nt (well...) at least he's good at not fumbling the ball.

u really think he's gonna succeed in his FIRST start?? I expect him to succeed at soem point this year, but highly doubt it will be in his first real game

He has to get rid of it in 3 seconds. If not, then Jake Long is going to end up looking bad because of blitz packages. run game is going great! why throw downfield? Run WC WC WC all day long. No one has stopped it. Atlanta was a mirage.

Maybe because we have dominated teams in the run game and still lost???

We should all give him 3-4 games before we call for his head. It will take several games to get a true evaluation. If he does not cut it, we are back to square 1 with this team.
