Pennington dropped back to pass 33 times (29 attempts, 4 sacks). Of those 33 plays, 4 were sacks, 13 were hurries, and 6 were knock downs. That's 23 of 33 plays where the QB was under some type of heat. I'm sorry, but that is why we lost this game. I don't care who the QB is, he is not gonna do very well if he is under pressure 70% of the time. Even if someone would be open, the QB would never have time to see it.

Maybe if Pennington tried moving around a little or showing a little presence in the pocket he would not end up on his a$$!

Any idea on what the problem was? When you see Long on his butt, you wonder what's going on. Is the new coach part of the problem?

It is more than clear that the O was just not ready to play today that goes on the players and coaches the D is the only reason we were in the game as long as we were.

Long and Carey were both beaten badly today in Chad's defense but on the early fumble he held onto the ball too long. The pressure was in his face, he had to see it. Get rid of the football.

like i said in another thread... the o-line played like crap the whole game... now the proof is in the pudding... being under somekind of pressure 70% of the time is not just terrible but down right horrible!!!!

Man, can we get a QB that can feel the rush like Marino. Or atleast someone with half the talent as him??

maybe someone should introduce dan henning to the hb screen and draw. dont recall seeing one of either today.

Pennington is pretty good at moving in the pocket and buying time. Today there was just no where to move.

The fumble was on Chad, but the pressure was on the o-line. He was trying to make something happen, he probably should have just eaten it and taken the sack.
