hey fin fans. to all of those ppl who do not live in ny[ which im sure r a majority of ppl on this site] just wanted to say how what we did to the jets is great, and the way its being handled here in ny is making my week. the way every fan is talking about it, the way tv shows, talk radio is talking about how we dominated the jets, and how rex ryan is handling this , you would have just thought we beat them in the afc championship game. it makes me so happy that finally after the first 3 weeks how all i heard was, jets this, jets that, jets have the best defenese, rex is the real deal, etc, we finally shut them up and everyone else up about this god damn feel good story here in ny. hopefully we win the saints game in a couple of weeks, and then back to the meadowlands where we hopefully will show calvin pace and bart scott wat a ''gimmick'' of an offense we have.
 
We win every AFC East game and the division and playoffs are def happening.

Tall order yes....but I think its possible if the WC and Henne continue its 3rd down efficiency and no turnovers.
 
I have one word for all of it...F****ING DELICIOUS!!!! Okay, two words.

i dont even think we must win all of the rest of our division games. if we drop 1 and go 5-1 in the division that puts as at a total of 5 wins. then other games we win vs bucs, at jags, at titans, at panthers, that gives us 9 wins. then the other 3 games vs new orleans, vs houston , and vs pitt, if we win 2 of those 3 we still finish 11-5. that i think would even be enough. would i like to go 6-0 in the division, or better yet win out and go 13-3? hells ya but we dont need to do that to make the playoffs. lets hope we do though bc i do hate when they lose it ruins my week.
 
yea mike francessa KILLED the jets it was great he called calvin pace a dope...so funny
 
Mike Francesa is killing the Jets but he has become a Giant lover since they won the SB left and has been looking for a reason to rip into the Jets all season. He doesnt like the bravado.

Joe Benigno I cant stand most of the times. The sky is always falling with him and he never really appreciates his team. He's been fair though when talking about this loss.

In the end the Jets deserve the reaction. But Francesa can be way over the top at times. Boomer and Carton is the place to go to get the best analysis IMO.
 
Yea I'm posted up here in NY and about all I've heard from Jets fans is "get a real offense".

It really makes me laugh.

They fooled the whole NFL and community by pretending to have a "real defense" the first 4 weeks of the season.
 
How can you tell when the months change from September to October in Connecticut? Easy. That's when all the Jets fans stop wearing their Jets gear.

ya i love boomer and carton, listen to them every morning, very entertaining etc. but the one thing that they tend to piss me off about, is how they show no respect towards the dolphins. at least joe benigno gives the dolphins his props and all that crap.

Normally I don't mind listening to sports talk show hosts from other areas but Francessa is the exception. He is very close minded and will make any situation fit his line of thinking. He is an idiot.

i no its insane wat a bunch of sore losers the jets defensive players are, aka bart scott and calvin pace. i mean if anything, i think its alot more impressive to be able to have such success with the wildcat because ur basically telling ur opponents that ur going to run the ball and try to stop us, plus it also eliminates any big passing threat. and yet we still have success marching down the field. i hate when people call it a gimmick, like i try not to care what people say, but it just really pisses me off.
 
i love boomer and carton they are a great combo even though carton said we would get killed monday

Yeah I agree. Boomer does a good job of breaking down the game but he doesnt seem to have a lot of respect for the Dolphins. I dont know if its that he just doesnt think there that good or something else.

Beningno does give the Dolphins credit. I just cant stand his views on the Jets and Mets. Dont get me wrong, I know Benigno is a big fan and a long time one as well but he gets annoying with all the negativity at times.

Agreed

I'm sure he gets Jet fans all pissed off for ratings purposes but the way he attacks the Jets at times (Tuesday for example) was just not fair.

He tends to make stuff up as he goes along as well. Which goes along with what you were saying about making a situation fit his line of thinking. He got it in his head that Revis was running his mouth about being considered the best CB in the league (when of course he wasnt running his mouth at all) and told him to shut up when Revis never talks trash or anything and is actually one of the more humble players on the Jets. Theres just no reason to do stuff like that.

Bart Scott and Calvin Pace are fair game. But even with those guys he can still go to far. You wanna get on Scott for running his mouth thats fine but Francesa went as far as talking about running the guy out of town. Thats ridiculous.

And he wonders why guys like David Wright and Ryan Church get mad at him.

He killed the Jets for losing to the Dolphins. But basically trashed the Dolphins as well saying things like "how could the Jets lose to a team like that".

The way I look at it was that it was a great game and the Dolphins pulled it out at the end. Great 4th quarter, great win for the Dolphins and they will meet again in 3 weeks for a rematch.
