That of course is the list of cornerbacks who were on the market during the offseason. Obviously, a lot of those guys were restricted and so they werent available to just snatch up, but there are plenty of decent unrestricted guys on there. Notice Benny Sapp's name. Thats right, no trade required. Just sign him up and he was yours.

I bring this up of course because the FO knew going into the offseason that W. Allen had knee problems. If they had any indication that IR or cutting him would be a possibility, why not have some sort of safety net in place so you dont have to trade your #4 receiver?

Also, just take a look at the guys on that list who are obviously better than the ****ing bums we run out there. The FO and coaches saw S.Smith blow last season. Unless they just banked on him improving(and if they did do that, shame on them) why wouldnt they have put a safety net in place for that in order to prevent having to run Jason Allen out there who we all know ****ing blows?

Its just another example of how poorly these clowns mismanage the roster. You cant draft rookies in late rounds and plan on them being the safety net for these type of things, youre not supposed to be counting on rookies drafted in round 5 for that. Those are guys you take to bury at the bottom of the roster and hopefully develope if they even show any potential.

It just wouldve been nice to have gotten one of these guys to have and be here to push S.Smith and start should Smith not respond. And when you consider W.Allen's circumstance, it seems like it wouldve been a no brainer to do so.

If grading talent was as easy as you make it sound, everybody would have a championship. Will Allen's injury was repaired. It was reinjured in camp. Our #4 WR was gonna get cut anyway. We got something for him instead. It's amazing how clueless some of these comments are.

Ok. Lets say Will Allen was all good to go and the thought he might not be able to play shouldnt have even been a consideration. That leaves us going into the season with lets see...........W.Allen and Vontae Davis as the only two corners worth a **** on our roster OK. Get a ****ing clue dude. You cant count a 5th round pick as anything.

We had 2 good corners back in March and all these morons did was draft a kid in round 5. Get ****ing real.

S.Smith and Jason Allen ****ing blow and everyone knew that in March except for these clowns running our team apparently. They left us high and dry at corner.

And how do you know Camarillo was getting cut? Perhaps. But, I doubt they keep two undrafted rookies over him had we not so desperately needed a corner thanks to these morons.

half the players on that list are injured and handfull of them will be calling football quits..
1 guy on your list (Sapp) we traded Cam for.. I dont know why you feel the f.o. mismanged..
LB was our biggest need start of FA, we got Dansby, some would say WR 2nd biggest need, we got Marshall..
only decent CB worth investing in was Rolle...
imo the front offense has done an excellent job..

so what would have done in FA that would make Parcells and Ireland say 'WVdolphan you're a genious'?

Stop with the Negative please. Let's see what happen and go from there. I'm hoping we show improvement and keep adding players. I don't think we close to a superbowl team yet but just a couple hits and we can be. Let the season play out first.

WV did you bother to look who is on that list? Some of these guys you have summed up your feelings since I have been on here............ Karl Paymah "Bills"

When you include those that you have expressed your adversarial feelings over then use them as an example of it being a mistake to pass them over, you lose credibility on the issue.

Dude, chiiiiiiill. Sean Smith was a rookie last year! Most rookies blow in their first year and take time to DEVELOP (top of my head: Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, James Harrison, Antonio Gates, Hell even Revis wasnt even talked about much as a rookie) Sean Smith has all the physical tools, he has the ball skills, just needs to learn how to jam. And despite what you may read on this crazy site sometimes, Jason Allen is a serviceable #2 corner. The poor guys switched position a gazillion times, switched coordinatos what, 3 times? maybe more, I dont even know anymore. Sucks we lost Will Allen for the year, but hey, its football, its a physical sport. our hated rival Bills had like 19 players on IR last year. Injuries happen. Sapp will be solid in the slot, Davis is looking beastly as of late and yes, the Jason Allen/Clemons side of the field will have some problems but most teams are not amazing on all fronts. Good thing is that our Dline is rock solid and our linebackers have so much versatility- Dansby is great in coverage, can blitz and has great run stopping abilities, Wake is Dumervil in the making, Misi/Ike is a nice rotation of coverage, run stopping, and Crowder will have his best year to date as a run stopper. And Nolans scheme will drive Qbs nuts. Im excited.

Sorry to say but Sean Smith was by far our best cover corner last year after Will Allen went down. CK posted the stats a while back. Gave up a less percentage of catches, less big plays, less yards per snap. He showed a lot of promise, that's why we didn't get another CB. Not sure what his deal is in the preseason, though Vontae Davis has been burned quite a few times as well, much like he was routinely last year. Losing Will Allen hurts a lot, and it baffles me why he was put on IR.

Why stop there? Why didn't they get another backup OT knowing Garner might not come back all the way? Why not sign another TE? Why not sign another NT?

They signed Dansby, Brandon Marshall, and took a shot at a couple of free safeties, which were the three positions that pretty much everybody agreed we needed help at the most. I don't think it is fair to slam the FO for how they attacked free agency.

Sean Smith sucks! Now we get J. Allen you guys are going to be crying in your beers when you see how ugly this is going to get! This all boils down to signing Eric Green over Leigh Bodden. That sack of hammers lead to drafting Smith because Green blows! What did we get? Wasting 2+ million for Green to be on the roster from Mar-Aug and Smith a corner who can't cover a double move, can't cover a in cut, and can't battle for the ball.

You rant about the most ridiculous ****. Leigh Bodden? He's on IR, who gives a **** about him. Was that your 2 million dollars? Nope, sure wasn't. If Sean Smith blows then we should probably go ahead and cut Vontae Davis since Smith was much better in coverage last year than him.

Revis wasn't talked about a lot because he sucked as a rookie. Common theme, right? He wasn't the second coming until last year.

I love it when you're wrong and you do it so often! Green signed a 2yr 6 million dollar deal. We payed him a little over 2 mil to go away. After Troy Williamson beat him like a drum in the Jax preseason game.

Sean Smith does blow, just people like you look for every reason to live in denial. What are you gonna do without Gerbil as your source of blame. Smith can't cover vertical routes, can cover a in break, lacks killer instinct and gets abused by average WRs.

Vontea while gave up a few plays has shown to have all the tools. To steal a line from your so never wrong football Jesus the Tuna. If it don't bite as a puppy it won't! Well Vontea is the puppy that runs around biting everything, while Smith is the puppy who curls up in the corner peeing.

Yeah Bodden on IR is a great analogy! Because that would have happened at our training camp 1200 miles away! Way to compare apples to dump trucks!

Now care to entertain is with your bold statements of Brandon Marshall the criminal "who actually has no conviction" will never become a Miami Dolphin!

Again. That has what to do with anything again?
