Well...you guys dragged us out behind the shed, pulled our pants down, and whooped our a**. I said if we lost I'd come back and eat my words and here I am. Have at me...

You guys are much better than I thought. Congrats and we'll see you again in a few weeks. In addition, Pace was totally out of line and the feeling around NY today is that these guys need to shut the hell up and start getting back to just playing the game.

Good luck...the next two weeks.

I respect your post, and its going to be a real good match in two weeks. Good thing Ill be there rooting my fins on.

Thank you for having the balls to come back onto the board even with you losing, it was a well fought game and it came down to the last play to decide it, here's to a great game!

Thanks. Nice to see a Jets fan admitting the coach and/or players are a bit out of line with some of their comments as opposed to the usual "swagger" bs.

Last two Fins-Jets games have been quite epic...of course that's easy for me to say since we've been on the winning side but you gotta admit, they've been pretty amazing games.

See you in a few weeks...have fun feasting on Buffalo and the Raiders in the meantime.

That was a heck of a game and it's nice to see the Dolphins start to earn some respect. That Jets running game was a lot better than I thought they were too.

Three Crow Recipes
From Debbie, courtesy of her Mom's WW II cookbook

Crow and Mushroom Stew

3 crows
1 Tbsp lard/shortening
1 pint stock or gravy
2 Tbsp cream
1/2 cup mushrooms
salt and pepper
cayenne pepper

Clean and cut crows into small portions and let them cook a short time in the lard/shortening in a saucepan, being careful not to brown them.
Next, add to the contents of the pan, the stock or gravy, and salt, pepper and cayenne to taste.
Simmer 1 hour, or until tender, add mushrooms, simmer 10 minutes more and then stir in cream.
Arrange the mushrooms around the crows on a hot platter.

Potted Crow:

6 crows
3 bacon slices
stuffing of your choice
1 diced carrot
1 diced onion
chopped parsley
hot water or stock
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup flour
buttered toast

Clean and dress crows; stuff and place them upright in stew-pan on the slices of bacon. Add the carrot, onion and a little parsley, and cover with boiling water or stock.
Cover the pot and let simmer for 2-3 hours, or until tender, adding boiling water or stock when necessary.
Make a sauce of the shortening and flour and 2 cups of the stock remaining in the pan.

Serve each crow on a thin slice of moistened toast, and pour gravy over all.

Crow Pie:

1 crow
stuffing of your choice
salt and pepper
shortening
flour
2 Pie crust mixes
2-3 hard-boiled eggs

Stuff the crow. Loosen joints with a knife but do not cut through.
Simmer the crow in a stew-pan, with enough water to cover, until nearly tender, then season with salt and pepper. Remove meat from bones and set aside.
Prepare pie crusts as directed. (Do not bake)
Make a medium thick gravy with flour, shortening, and juices in which the crow has cooked and let cool.
Line a pie plate with pie crust and line with slices of hard-boiled egg. Place crow meat on top. Layer gravy over the crow. Place second pie dough crust over top.
Bake at 450 degrees for 1/2 hour.

Good for you...fair enough. But do you really think in three weeks it will be any different?

Take away the B.S. calls...and the game isn't close...I doubt that the refs will be with you like the force...again.

Smack talk is all good IF you got the balls like this dude to come back a give respect. About time this rivalry is reborn 3 weeks from is going to be crazy and one hell of a game.

I won't trash you. You team played well and Rex should not have been as hard on them. You guys did a pretty good job holding Ricky and Ronnie in the rushing department, neither had 100 yards. Though Ricky did catch for 70 yards also. The rematch will be exciting, though much less nerve racking for Dolphins fans now.

The only thing I have to make you eat crow on is a lot of you thought there would be a ton of jets fans there and there really werent that many at all. Never really heard them either. Dolphin Stadium is electric every game if you watch them.

See you in three weeks. Going to be tough to get to Brees. Hopefully we can pull that game out.

Dammit, i was just starting to hate you more than junc. Its all good though. Mad props for manning up and coming on here like you said you would. It was a hell of a game though. I got the pleasure of actually being at the stadium for it, and it seemed like whoever had the ball last was gonna win this one. It just happened to be us! Kinda pissed at Ryan and Pace though, they just need to shut the F*** up and learn to admit when you got downright outplayed. That just makes me want to beat them so much more in a few weeks. Go FINS!!!

It seems the more a jets fan asks to get bashed the more lightly the fin fans take it on him....

After reading through your post and reading how we pulled your "pants down" and then you go on to say "Have at me" which sounds like something a youngster would say to big ol' Bubba in jail....

The best thing a Jets fan can do is bash his own team....that should pry away some of the bashing on your team....
