Why is it that our players always end up trying to go to another AFC team??? Especially one of our bitter rivals???? :tantrum: :tantrum:

Tell me about it. I know it is a business and the players will do what is best for themselves, but I can't help but feel a little betrayed.

Then again, I guess WE did let them go.

The teams contact them. They just don't go visiting any team they want. It's logical because who would know our players better than the teams in our own division?

Remember how Morris used to kill us when he would come into games to relieve Travis henry on third downs. I would hate to see him go to the pats only to convert on third downs. He is good at that

Yes it sucks when our players go to AFC East rivals, but realistically, were these our best players??? They go released for a reason. It also helps us in a way, if they are in there, since we would know their weaknesses and tendencies also, that we could exploit. We have a new HC, so our play calling will change a little, reducing hom much they know about our plans.

There's always a bonus in picking up a rival's FA. Morris & Bowens will provide insight to the nuances of our schemes, player's weaknesses, etc.

so what im not scared of those guys. let em go.

We were 6-10 last year. Things have to change. These cuts are great news! It means we have guys in place that re not afraid to do what it takes to change this team. All of the guys released are overpaid and underperform. We still have a couple left to cut I'm sure. DMac and DBowens are not starting quality. SMorris is a backup and avg at that. Minor needed to go also. You can't keep these guys JUST for ST. You need to bring in young studs who may develop into starters and use them on ST. We are going to have a new offense so what is the risk of exposure - almost none! Save the $ and let's move on.
