As the Miami Dolphins head into the third year of Adam Gase's tenure, fans are left to wonder if it will play out like his first year in 2016 when they cruised to the playoffs with a 10-6 record or if it will play out like last season's 6-10 debacle.
Vegas is betting on the latter.
WestGate SuperBook, a Las Vegas sportsbook, projects the Dolphins to win just six games, according to USA Today. It's the lowest preseason win total projection for the Dolphins since 2008, according to data compiled by Sportsodddshistory.com. The Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns are the only teams projected with a lower win total this season at 5.5.
According to the sportsbook Betonline.ag, the Dolphins are one of five teams with the worst chance to win the Super Bowl. at 100-to-1 odds Joining Miami at the bottom of the list: the Buffalo Bills, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Chicago Bears and the New York Jets. The sportsbook also has the Dolphins tied with the Buffalo Bills with the worst chance to win the AFC East

Not like we do well when the pundits/experts buy in to us so ill take it.

There’s a lot of dudes on here drinking the kool-aid, so there’s an opportunity to make some money if you believe! Lol

I believe in 8 wins next year so I do think it's a good bet on the over

Vegas knows the national media has helped push an extreme negative image of the Dolphins this year so at that number a lot of fools will be betting the under. So Vegas will make a crap load of money as usual.

I don't think there's much tape to watch of Amendola, Wilson, Ballage or Gesicki catching passes from Ryan, don't worry, there'll be plenty. I think people forgot how good Tannehill looked before the injury sidelined him.

Just keep sayin'

Truth is:

Gase and Thill have a LOT to prove this season.

I'm certainly NOT expecting a stupid bowl appearance -- or even a playoff...

But the ship needs to get turned in the right direction and show clear signs of making serious strides towards the promised land.

Last season was a disaster on a number of fronts. The good news is --- there's a TON of room for improvement.

Get 'er done. Or get outta town!

We'll see the results soon enough.

Oh yea -- I'm keeping my optimistic cap on for now. I hope it's justified.

Last year I felt we needed a lot of things to fall into place to be successful. This year we are a better prepared for injuries and really the only main concern is Tannehill.

Only concern tannehill????

And what else do we need? If tannehill goes down the season is over. Iwish tannehill was healthy.

And what backups do we have?

A couple of scrubs worst than miami dolphins last years starting qb.

So you're telling me there's a chance...
There is always a chance....That is until the season starts and we go 1-6 then the season is over. Then we will win a few more games just so we can miss on the best qbs in the draft. Just like in 2017.

Tannehill is on krutches.
