Leodis McKelvin is still there somehow when the Redskins are up @ #21...

McKelvin is the #1 CB on my board, but I could definitely see DRC getting drafted before him and possibly Mike Jenkins... If that happens, there's a decent chance McKelvin is still there at 21...

One of the Redskins biggest needs is a pass-rushing defensive end.

At this point we offer the Redskins Jason Taylor and our 3rd round pick (#64) for their #21 pick...

I know a lot of people are wanting a 1st for Taylor, but I just don't think that is very realistic at this point. I think a 2nd is much more likely (probably lower 2nd honestly). Adam Scheftler on NFL Network last night actually thought it could very well end up being a 3.

We take McKelvin at 21 and now we have a starting CB oppopsite Will Allen.

Quentin Groves (JT's replacement at OLB) should be there at 32.. If he's not, we could trade back a few picks (pick up a replacement 3rd round pick) and grab Cliff Avril, OLB. I think Avril could end up being as good as Groves...

At 57 we take Chilo Rachal, our new starting LG.

We wouldn't get to pick again until the 6th round, but we had 2 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks, and added Fasano and Ayodele. That's 5 very solid starters netted from this year's draft!!

With our 2 6th and 2 7th round picks we look to pick up depth at WR, S, DE, maybe look at Owen Schmitt (FB) if he is miraculously there somehow in the 6th...

A variation on your theme: Washington's #21 and 2nd rounder next year for JT and Miami's #57. I don't think it gets done for our #64.

I though I heard that the redskins turned down an offer for jason taylor, no?
