Defensive end Cameron Malveaux, who was promoted from the practice squad to the 53 on Tuesday, said he can play tackle (at 276 pounds) but was used only as a defensive end in practice Wednesday. He said he practiced at end and tackle for the Dolphins last season but played only end in his four game appearances for Miami in 2017.

Malveaux was needed at end on Wednesday, with Cam Wake and Andre Branch sidelined by knee injuries.

I don't understand why Minkah doesn't get any reps at corner. You can't tell me he's not better than Mctyer.

I'm cool with him being the starting nickle but when we are in a base 4-3 I'd like to see him on the field.

I don't think they want to move him around as a rookie. I think if he had a couple years of experience they would consider it, but I think they want him concentrating on one area and I agree with that approach. But your right in your assessment about being better than McTyer

He and Harris are probably the most disappointing of recent drafts.
yeah that draft is not looking good for us at the top. Still hoping RM can get it right but so far he hasn't either.

I kinda figured the same thing. I really hope he locks down a corner or safety spot next year in the base d though. Hes got the talent to play either but I think he can really excel at safety.

As a third round pick, starting almost all of last season was a pleasant surprise to me (re: Tank).

I have no idea what happened to him between last season and this one, but if he could get back to where he was as a rookie and progress from there it would really help us.
