So nothing new for me at leastA day later, Henne's eye OK, Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne said his vision had improved Monday after he left the team's Week 17 game with blurred vision. Henne was examined by an eye doctor who attributed the problem to a bruise near the left eye.
Really!!?? Maybe you should have told Henne that.Yea his "eye" was fine going into halftime.

Really!!?? Maybe you should have told Henne that.

1. Because there was a chance that his vision might clear up.If you watched the post game with the media you might be skeptical about the eye injury as well.
If the "FUTURE QB" has an eye injury why the hell is he out on the sideline and not getting that checked out by professionals? Instead he just stands there on the sidelines.
If you watch one of his interviews on aquavision, you can clearly see the bruise under his eye. I can't believe some of you are actually thinking Sparano lied about it just to see Pat White... If he did, then he would've put Henne in after White got hurt.
Re-watched the video and don't see much of anything under his eye. WHO KNOWS maybe he did but at least get your facts straight...
...Thigpen came in after White got carted off...
1. Because there was a chance that his vision might clear up.
2. The only way to get his eye checked by a professional was to leave the stadium. That would have made no sense at all.
3. Henne was not poked in his eye so there would not have been any visable signs of an eye injury. According to Chad, he suffered a bruise below his left eye that caused blurred vision. He was also hoping that it would clear up so he could re-enter the game (That's probably the main reason Pat White went into the game before Thigpen did.) but everytime it appeared his vision would clear it got worse after he started throwing the football.
There was no need to rush him to see an eye doctor because it was not an emergency situation. There was no injury directly to the eye. Henne's eye was not poked and it was not bleeding so there was no need to rush him to Miami-Dade or anywhere else. As TableFin posted, the doctor Chad did see attributed his blurry vision to a bruise NEAR the left eye.Blurred vision is not a good thing. Especially not for your QB of the future. Why not (after throwing the ball around and realizing he can't come back in) send him out to get it looked at instead of standing there doing no good. He wasn't going to come back in once Thigpen went out there.
I would sacrifice one half of football so he could get checked out properly.
All I'm saying is that it's hard to believe that when you have an eye injury affecting your vision, minor or major, you need to take it seriously. So when I'm watching the game on TV and see him standing there I become skeptical.
