Newsflash: We aren't going to the Superbowl this year!
...But did anyone REALLY think we were? You do realize there is still a full month before the season starts, and there are still 4 more preseason games left to play.
The o-line had a tough time: Of course it did, we have a new line coach with mostly unseasoned players going against a second year, Romeo Crennell defense featuring Brian Urlacher WTF did you expect 48-0? Put down the wine and the sleeping pills, we still have a month to get it together.
The DB's had a tough time: Of course they did, we all knew that was a weakness, that's why Saban has spent sooo much time focusing on that area. Remove the noose from around your necks and step down off the chair because we still have a month to get it together.
Receiver Derrius Thompson and TE Donald Lee showed they have trouble holding on to the ball in fullspeed game play... Good, now replace Thompson with Boston and give Diamond a try... Get our of the bathtub and but away the straight razors because we still have a month to get it together.
Anyone who REALLY BELIEVES they can tell how this whole season is going to play out just by watching us lose the FIRST OF FIVE preseason games by a mere 3 points is just a fracking stupid alarmist.
