It picked up 17 (or was it 27?) yards against the Titans to put us in field goal range

Id say its averaged about 3 or 4 yards a carry, just like most other running plays

Everytime we run the WR screen, it makes me want to club baby seals with an aluminum baseball bat. Enough already calling that play, it hasn't been too successful...........:tantrum:

it only works when the DB is playing 8 yds of the WR. Should be easy to see it. Maybe Joey need glasses? :tongue:

that play was very effective against pittsburgh...when you have a WR with the size and speed combo like Chambers, screens can be very effective. i recall the play where chambers made the one hand catch, and turned it up field for about 10 yds after breaking a couple of arm tackles.

I agree, I hate that play, it makes me cringe every time i see it.

Not to mention, it scares the crap outta me watching joey try to force it into triple coverage.

I'd just rather try to gain 10 yrds by throwing North/South in lieu of East/West. DB's are just too quick.........

And you remember that one play that was moderately successful after a phenomenal catch of a tipped ball. I remember the what, 5-6 other times that damn play was called.

And it's not a Joey bash, it's a let's never, ever, ever call that play again bash.
