Who is this Jamal Anderson Defensive End? Can you tell me a little about him BESIDES that he is good or that he sucks

For example say what he is good at and bad at and like who u would compare him to in the NFL

Thanks

In case you missed it Arkansas defensive end Jamaal Anderson announced yesterday that he would forego his senior season and enter the 2007 NFL Draft. If you don't know how Anderson is now you had better get acquainted with him because he is going to come off the board early.

A 6-6, 280 pound Richard Seymour clone, Anderson quietly put together an outstanding junior campaign in '06, tallying 13.5 sacks (2nd most in the nation) to go along with 19.5 tackles for a loss. Even though he doesn't get a whole lot of national attention Anderson will be one of the elite defensive prospects available this year and may challenge for a spot in the Top 10 overall.

If you don't know him now rest assured you will by the time April 28 rolls around.

I'm a South Carolina fan and he was a beast in the SEC. Very fast and wreaks havoc in the backfield. Drawback: generally when a DE puts together has "quietly puts together a good season", it generally means he takes some plays off or has stamina problems.

Not necessarily. Jamaal didn't get a lot of press before the season because no one really knew who he was. He didn't become a starter until the middle of the 2005 season when the starter, Anthony Brown, got hurt. Even then he finished with 10.5 TFL and 4 sacks. Anderson was also overshadowed this year with the play of Darren McFadden and the offense.
