I never understand why more teams (the ones that actually need kickers) don’t draft the best or 2nd best K/P available in rounds 6 and 7, they have a much better chance of actually making the roster so the picks don’t go to waste. It worked when Miami drafted their LS in round 7 (or was it round 6)I see he's been with several teams. A journey man punter

To be fair, he hasn't really had much opportunity to punt in areas that are his strength. He's supposed to be accurate and good at placing kicks, which generally require your offense to get near the 50 at least.
