The headliner at Maryland’s pro day was WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (6-1 5/8, 212 pounds). He drew a bunch of receiver coaches, including Jets assistant Henry Ellard. After running the fastest 40-yard dash at the combine (4.30 seconds), he opted not to do workout drills again Wednesday. Instead, he focused his attention on the position drills and he nailed that portion of the workout. He runs extremely smoothly and is adept at catching the ball.
Heyward-Bey was one of 24 players, who worked out in front of 50 scouts indoors on FieldTurf. (Heyward-Bey ranks fifth in Mike Mayock’s position rankings.)

Looks like our choices will now be between Nicks, Harvey, Britt, and Robiskie in the first or second round.

3 - 4 of them will be available with the #25 pick and 2 - 3 of them might be available at #44!!

I would take Nicks over Heywerd-Bey any day. He runs better routes and has better hands....speed is nice, but I'd rather have a guy who can come down with the ball like Nicks.

His performance all year long has solidified him OUT of the top 20 in my opinion. Tuna puts more emphasis in production than combine numbers. Heyward-Bey will NOT be drafted by the Fins. Move along, nothing to see here...

whats solidied is that eveb a word does he mean solidified
