Nice article on WR Darrius Heyward-Bey. Future Dolphin??

I like his size, not sure how much he bench pressed but he looks strong, like he'll be able to handle press coverage and with his speed the sky could be the limit. His coach says, righ now, he's 60% of what he could eventually be.

Scary!!!

Ravens are going to bring him in and have Flacco throw to him. I'd like to see the video from that workout!!

My gut feeling is that Harvin is going to fall, possibly out of the 1st round.

Which WR are you feeling with the #25? Me: Heyward-Bey/Nicks

Which WR are you feeling with the #44? Me: Harvin/Robiskie/Britt

Which WR are you feeling with the #56? Me: Robiskie/Britt

Darrius Heyward-Bey has superstar potential. I would much rather have him than Hakeem Nicks, who I see as a solid, but unspectacular receiver.

DHB is bigger, faster, and more explosive than Nicks, and has a much higher ceiling than Nicks does.

25- NICKS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2ikDsi-DJA (unspectacular?)
44- Of the three, Britt.
56- Britt

The cumulative evaluation of DHB, IMO, just has bust written all over him. One of the biggest knocks on him is that he disappears (which obviously CAN be contributed to O Coordinators and HCs) and we do not need a player like that. Especially when we are trying to make a young QB successful.
I would be very disappointed if we got Harvin. He is fragile, and players on his own team have, in not so few words, called him a p***y.
Robiskie has nice hands, but I think NFL CBs would shut him down.

I have seen that video a thousand times. There is nothing gamechanging about that. What did that play total? About 8-10 yards? So Nicks can pass the ball from one hand to the other behind his back. What's the big deal?

DHB is bigger, faster, and more dynamic than Nicks. DHB will cause NFL defenses more match-up problems than Nicks will. He has game-changing ability.

Don't get me wrong. Nicks is a decent receiver. He is a tough, gritty receiver, but he is not at the same level as DHB.

But unlike DHB, Nicks can catch the ball.

this guy reminds me of another a bolden. It's funny that that there hasn't been alot of pre draft hype about him like dhb. Could this all be pre draft games. i could see nicks as our #1 pick(if they really wanted a wr at #1).

DHB has More upside than Nicks but he also has the biggest Bust potential... Nicks is the safer pick... what ever the trifecta does.. ill be ok with it...
