I don't think WR is as big a need as people are making out. Mathews can take Hartline's place. We still have Wallace and Landry. I am not the biggest fan of Wallace but he does find the end zone. This draft is fairly deep at WR. If they can convert Jordan to LB that lessons the need for a high pick there. OG is the only remaining Glaring need on our team. Pulling a starting caliber OG in this draft should be very easy. You combine that with Pouncey being back at Center, Albert coming back, James back at RT and you have a formidable Offensive Line. People worrying about the money must not be keeping up with all of the cuts the Phins are making. Hickey is without a doubt the best thing to happen to Miami since Marino!!

Lets wait til we get better than 8-8 shall we?

cornerback and safety are concerns. TE if Clay goes to Buffalo. They need to deal with MLB because I don't trust Misi to stay healthy for an entire season.

If we draft another O-Lineman with our first pick I'm gonna go nuts, have we not already discovered where that gets us? We need impact positions like CB, WR, MLB, or FS.

I think Sheppard can man the 2 down MIKE as well. He's not bad.

I think it's likely dare i say, "obvious" that they are going to roll with who's already on the roster for LB positions. The thinking goes something like this

1) Signing SUH should make our mediocre LB core that much better
2) There simply isn't good value in FA or even in the draft worth pursuing.

They're likely going to round out the secondary with players, the OL and WR...THATS IT!!!

God please no! This team needs a MLB in the worst way. If we are relying on Sheppard to man this spot we are in some serious trouble.

I'm betting the Priority looks like this for Miami:

1) WR - This unit is depleted at the moment
2) CB - Considering the division, the way the game is played AND Tannebaum's emphasis on needed DBs in this league
3) OL - G depletion
4) LB - Belief that signing of Suh will elevate current group
5) TE - Sims, Arthur and other will be enough

Danny Shelton, DT, Washington. Can't fix all of our weaknesses, let's have one UNSTOPPABLE piece. That DL would crush opposing QBs. Who you gonna double team, Pats?

We have absolutely NO depth, as of right now, I'll probably feel much better after the draft, but we're dry as of this moment...

You have GOT to be joking.

We have spent/wasted more picks, money, blood and treasure on dl than any of the other positions COMBINED and you want MORE?

I don't know if it is a fetish for you guys or if you seriously are impaired in your thought processes.

I believe the correct way to evaluate Hickey's approach is quality of performance for players between 2015-2017. Suh and Mitchell will be a great tandem over that time frame. Jenkins, Vernon, Tannehill, Landry, Miller, James, Pouncey, and Mathews should perform well over that period. I think Albert will hold up for three years. I expect this might be the last year for Wake. I like the way Hickey is building this team.

OG - is priority #1 we have Billy Turner and Dallas Thomas. That's not good!
CB/S - We have some young guys but we need a corner opposite Grimes or a slot guy if Taylor emerges. Also a decent safety.
LB - We need that go to LB to man the middle.
WR/TE - If Clay goes we need a weapon either at TE or WR.
HB - Someone to compliment Miller.

look at any area of our team... we are one injury away from having a huge gaping hole at every position. We have no depth anywhere and some areas we need a starter. this is a huge FA/draft for hickey and we get to see if he learned from the risks he took on injury prone players last season to fill holes, and if we can finally get consistant production from our players from the last 3 drafts.
