I heard in a WQAM interview yesterday that Mike Pouncey will not want to move to guard this year because he is expecting a Payday next year at center. He would make less at guard.

That's unfortunate but I certainly can't blame Mike. It's his career and he's essentially being asked to take a demotion even though he's one of the best in the world at what he does.

Samson did one hell of a job but Mike is one of the best in the business so he's our center going forward I would imagine.

As far as the 5 - 2 defense many times the 3rd lb is close to the line and blitzing so we just used another DE instead.
Shula did something like that with Bob Matheson and the 53 defense.

The old 53 defense was amazing. Teams had a hard time getting 1st downs let alone scoring.
