Hill to the Steelers (they need a starting WR)

I know, I know, but it makes sense. They need a starting WR opposite Metcalf now that Pickens is gone. I say a straight up trade for one of their young starters on OLine, or DLine in that order. Even if we have to eat some of Hill's contract, if we could get a young player from them still playing out his rookie contract, it would be a win by subtraction. Hill is just another day, or two from making the headlines again. It would do him good to put some miles between him and his soon-to-be ex-wife.
A straight trade for minka

If Hill was the difference between Miami being a fringe playoff team and a true contender, I’d think it was worth it to keep him despite all the drama.

But Hill, at best, is probably the difference between Miami being a 5-7 win team and a 6-8 win team. He will absolutely publicly demand a trade and be a total distraction if Miami starts out slowly this year.

Might as well move him before that happens and his trade value plummets, but I don’t think the Steelers are going to have interest.

This off-season has told us Tyreek is worth about a 3rd round pick. I say you hold him and play him until the trade deadline and then figure it out.

I read that his wife just filed for divorce yesterday, or today and is asking for support and for him to move out of their condo'. Only confusing thing about that is that I thought he owned a home in SouthWest Ranches in Davie. This is a neighborhood of huge homes on 2-5 acre lots a mile from my where my cousin lives in Davie. Regardless, you and I know he is going to be in the news again soon, just a matter of time.
I believe you are right, the one that had the fire. He also has a condo

And now with the surgery issue probably less

Makes sense to send him to Pitt. Makes no sense for Pitt to give away a good olinemen for a player worth a 5th round pick.

Ain't no way a 31 yr old, under sized, declining WR coming off his worst season in 8 years, who has a massive contract is worth a 3rd round pick.

Unless its a 2028 3rd, then yeah, maybe

Maybe someone on another playoff ready team goes down in preseason and they panic and overpay for Hill.

I think that's the only way Grier gets anything worth trading him. His actions/words likely caused his value to plummet this past year.

Yep, we've got all training camp and preseason to get it done. Let him get back out on the field, show he's over the injury and can play nice in the sandbox and then pawn him off if/when, as you stated above, somebody goes down. He's due a $15.85 million bonus on 8/31, that looks like the real pressure point to me to get something done (if the Phins are so inclined).

I'm sure McEasy will let him have a veteran rest day until game 1 of the regular season.
resting bitch face happen GIF

I see it the opposite. You must show the league he's healthy and ready to play nice if you hope to recoup anything of value. I have a feeling those vet rest days will be getting phased out.

Nothing wrong w Hill in Miami. Why gave away ur best players on. Team

Because his play is declining and his compensation is increasing.

He hasn’t had very much impact in games that weren’t against the worst teams/defenses in the league.

Drops would be another reason.

But maybe the biggest reason is that he’s an awful human being who is mentally unstable and being associated with him is a major embarrassment.

This franchise would’ve been significantly better off had they never acquired him.

The offense needs to start evolving away from him.

Partial list of WR's that the Steelers have shipped outta town for being a diva/and or grousing about their role in the offense or just being a pain in the arse-

1. Mike Wallace
2. AB
3. Diontae Johnson
4. Plaxico Burress
5. Martavis Bryant
6. Chase Claypool
7. Pickens
8. Emmanuel Sanders
9. Santonio Holmes

Guess who has ZERO chance of getting on that list? Tomlin wouldn't put up with Hill for one minute.

This exactly.

I hate the fans, and I generally hate the ******* Steelers, but I admire the way the organization handles things.

The biggest nightmare for me is if the Steelers and Tomlin get their hands on Tua after it's decided he's "not the answer" in Miami.

No way he is worth 3 #1's. I would take a #1 for him today. Best we will get is a #2 and maybe a #3, or #4. Does not matter about his ability, he will bring a problem to any team and is a risk.

I love Reek despite his BS — but he is not going to get us a #2 with the baggage, contract, or perceived decline.
