Hiring a HC is like the draft & FA

You can hire the best from college, hire a high priced proven vet or, a lower tier FA/draft pick. It's a crap shoot based on luck.

Like most of our drafts and FA's signings, we have had none other than bad luck. By the numbers, have to think we are well overdue for some.

Don't think it will be Campbell, as I do not believe he can put together a VG staff for next year but, we shall see.

Not pure luck but, if you're right maybe half the time it has a lot to do with it. Just look at the coaching hire's over the last 20 years, as well as picks and signings. Some "can't miss" guys are disasters, and some guys fans never heard of do very well.
