In what will be the first bright spot in a rookies career..Mario Williams is all but a lock to get his first career sack vs. the Phins this week...

Making the "sam bowie" of the NFL the headline of sportscenter despite a 17-13 victory by Miami.

I have a sinking feeling he'll have his first 3 NFL sacks this week.

They average 1 sack a game I believe....we give up 5

So I'll take the middle ground and say we give up 3 sacks, if Williams gets one who knows

17-13???...it BETTER be a biiger beat then that lmao!

I think the history that will be made will be the Dolphins first win over the Texans franchise! I'm still bitter about that 2003 opening day home loss. Carr gets crushed 50-60 times a year and we get no sacks on him :fire:

Sage Rosenfields is going to be sacked for the first time by Jason Taylor outside of practice.

thats wanny for ya

if you haven't seen any texans games, they move williams around alot. i've seen him at every position on the DL. however, my guess is once he plays a few snaps at RE vs shelton, that's where he'll remain for the rest of the game. williams is very quick of the snap and will run right around shelton, even though that's his only move. he comes off the ball and rushes straight up field. for the most part, thats pretty much what the entire texans D line does every play. straight up field. nothing fancy. this is why the redskins absolutely destroyed them with draws and screens. overly aggressive LBs and a D line that tries to rush the QB on every play. they have also shown to be VERY vulnerable to play action.

Yeah the opening day loss in 2003 in only their second season was quit embarrassing. I predict we sack Carr at least three times and we give up two at the most. Mario Williams is going to take a while to develop. He isn't exactly burning up the league with his sacks.

Fearless prediction; Dolphins 24 Texans 13. RB with about 90 yards rushing and Daunte with 250 yards passing in his best peformance so far as a Dolphin. Keep in mind that their pass D is terrible!
