I`ve read many comments in the past few weeks about firing Philbin or Coyle or Lazor, or all of them!

I`m fed up with it. What his team needs is consistency off the field, a bit of stability. I`ve no doubt that Philbin learnt from the Green Bay time outs and that Coyle learnt a thing or two in Denver. They will be better coaches because of it. This team is close to being elite and challenging for a Super Bowl, so, let the players and coaches evolve together and I`m sure they will get there. Changing coaches will only put this team back a year or two.

Quit moaning and back this team, it`s gonna be a good one.

They'va had 3 years. They just now learn from GB, Detroit, and Denver? So in 3-4 years we could make the playoffs I guess.
I have no prob with the team. The qb, offense, defense. But Joe is holding us back. Remeber, he fought to keep Sherman and Jim Turner. Where would be now if he kept them?

He fought publicly for them which any head coach should do but privately we don't know.

To be fair, they've really only had 1, on offense, with a new OC and oline coach, and blowing up the oline. Defensively, that's another story.

How about a GM that actually knows how to draft for scheme fit players?

They've had three years?! Philbin has yes, but I'm talking about all three as a collective. I think that, given time (and I'm talking about going into next season) these coaches and players will really click. Imagine the O next season with another camp and confidence in the system, the could be top five. Change the coordinators and it's back to square one. And that means keepin Philbin too, cause if he goes then next guy wants his own people in.

Sometimes it's good to have stability and consistency.

There's the question everyoone wants the answer for. Do we keep Joe or not? A question for you. How long are you prepared to keep Joe around to make the playoffs? Another year? 2 more? 3?

If we go 10-6 or better I agree. If we go 9-7 I keep Philbin and the offensive staff and go get a new D coordinator who can create game plans which leverage the teams strengths to attack our opponents weaknesses while hiding our own weaknesses. I don't hate Coyle but I do think we could do better and with the Talent we have and another good draft be pretty dominant on D with proper game planning. Anything less than 9-7, I am fine firing Philbin while hoping the new coach retains Lazor.

I love this "fire joe" , "he is holding us back"...... Fire Joe for WHO?????? This team is going toe to toe with the ELITE teams in the NFL and you want to fire the coach? This team looks better then it has since Pennington and you want to fire the coach? the team went blow for blow with P Manning fighting for a playoff spot with a mid major secondary and playing ring around the rosey with the o-line and you want to fire the coach? For what?

let this team go another season and build on what we have. the group appears to be working well together. you don't go and blow it up..

Do you guys not think that a change in the HC or coordinators causes the team to step back?? I firmly believe that consistency is needed. I'm not talking about years, just into next season. This roster is good. The team are practically challenging this season, next season they will be for sure

We changed our OC from last year and have taken a step forward on offense so I don't agree.

Also, if Belichick were to coach the Dolphins next year we would make the playoffs.

The coaching staff needs to show continuous improvement until we are a championship caliber team. If we don't improve this year from last year then we need to see who the likely available coaches are and if we feel we can get a better coach take the risk of firing Philbin and hope we land the guy/guys we have targeted.

Stop stating your assumptions as fact.
