HOLDER question

I was just checking out the depth chart, and saw that Gus Frerotte (who will most likely start at QB this season) is the backup holder.

I see the value in possible fake kicks, as he would be the most successful in passing it into the endzone, but isn't that a serious risk to take? What if Mare slips (again... see the H.O.F. game) and breaks his finger? Does he at least use his non-throwing hand to hold it?

I always liked the idea of qb's as holders, as mentioned it opens up a much more effective and plausible fake kicking game

Wannstedt should've given Fiedler that job. Only those two could manage to take an easy three points and end up with an INT returned for a TD :shakeno:

Now that I think about it, with all the holders that have gone down with injuries received in the line of duty,... I COULDN'T THINK OF A SAFER PLACE ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD!!!
