The Vic Fangio defensive system has historically involved the Safeties having the flexibility to play with multiple responsibilities. The signing of DeShon Elliott was a key free agency addition that probably went a bit under the radar when we got him. Do not underestimate Fangio's probable advice/feedback to Chris Grier in this addition. Holland, Elliott and Jones represent a strong triumvirate at the Safety position group.
