Looks like we won't be the only ones trying to run the ball next week.

The team is playing well. We will be able to run the ball on them, but our WR's have not been looking good lately/healthy.

If they score on our defense, we are going to have to be able to throw the ball as it may be a high scoring game.

I haven't watched any San Diego games this year, what do you guys think about them as an opponent?

(Please do not move thread, this is Dolphins related as we play them next week.)

They have had 4th quarter lapses. Today they were throwing up points left and right and there defense was coming up with turnovers. We can't get into a track meet with them.

I'm going to have to watch the game to get a feel for them. MG appears to have his confidence up. Wake is going to have to beast next week.

Offensively they seem to be pretty solid. Their worst loss is only an 8 point one. The others were even closer.

It's going to be a tall task winning next week.

We'll need to win the TOP again, keep their offense off the field as much as possible. And when we get to the RZ, we'll need TDs. Field goals won't cut it on the road vs. a hot team.

If we are going to win next week we must contain Gordon and bring the pressure to Rivers all game long. As Hoops brought up Gates and Henry at TE will cause us issues.

He tweaked his ankle late, hopefully it flairs up this week =)

Last year I was at the game as well in San Diego and Tannehill got beat to a pulp! There was one hit where I didn't think he was going to get up! Man that kid is tough! Rivers gets rid of the ball pretty quick and has a low release, we can deflect some balls if we get our hands up!

I can see Joey Bosa giving James fits all game long :(... that dude is for real...

This is gonna be a tough game. SD is a better team than they get credit for being.

Rumour is we'll stay out west between games...still think we should make the flight at least a day early.

I was there too and I remember that hit!!

With Rivers I never assume beating SD will be easy. He's at the tail end of his career but he's always dangerous.
