I do miss him. Guy had the best quotes. On the field it's been about the same without him which oddly enough is what Football Outsiders' numbers said before the season: that Burnett and Crowder were about the same in coverage last year. It sounded idiotic at the time

Leadership is more than mouthing off. Crowder was a decent player, but I never considered him a leader.
I miss his vocalness.

I remember when we drafted Crowder man I was happy to get him. I thought he was going to be Zach's understudy and then take over.
Unfortunately its like he peaked too early. I dont know. I still believe that he's a solid player. Maybe not Ray Lewis or Zach Thomas, but a good LBer.
If he comes back to the NFL I would hope that he comes back with renewed vigor and a desire to not just be a good LBer but a GREAT one.
