If Bill Parcells makes our squad a primetime team with plenty of rings to go around, would you say yes to a statue/plack in his honor at the stadium? :lol:

Also, can you tell that I've up for two days/nights? :rolleyes2: :sidelol:

I think both Parcells and Sparano will get honored if we win a few Super Bowls. Parcells for building the team and Sparano for coaching it. Unfortunately for Jeff Ireland he won't get as much accolades as he should because he is "only" the GM.

Come on man , relax lol.

parcells has not won one playoff game in the last 9 yrs as a coach or since belicheck has left him. if he does win a SB as a vp or what ever his post before he looses intrest and does something else it is awesome.But throwing a few SB wins in a statement sounds like crazy talk .

I dont know about a statue, maybe a plaque.. IMO one must be tenured for a long long time to get a statue.
For example, Rocky didnt get a statue until 1982. he didnt come onto the heavyweight boxing championship scene until 1976. He had to wait 6 years and many many fights before he got his statue :wink:
 
If I could put this whole staff/FO up there instead of Parcells, I would.

Parcells brought it in his own guys, because they do what he's been able to do .. as for now, all Parcells is doing is making his prescense known here, and probably just gives lots of advice .. I would say he's our guru :D

Let me rephrase this so it doesen't sound negative.

Parcells is an AMAZING football guy, but he's groomed his own guys so well now, that all he has to say is "get me someone special" and his guys do just that. Its just that easy, Parcells doesen't have to do much work because his guys are doing the work for him, and he guides them along the way

And one of the best talent evaluators in the game. But never a statue for him. NEVER !
 
Hmm so Shula has no staue but you want a statue of a guy that will only be involved with our team for a few years.
 
Shula should have the whole franchise named after him. all the success of the dolphins were under shula's name. he should have a statue if anyone does. but parcells will have some kind of award if he wins a superbowl or many superbowls.

I believe there are three bronze statues at Dolphin Stadium. Don Shula, Joe Robbie and Dan Marino.
 
If Parcells gets us a bunch of rings I will personally build the statue myself. And one for Sparano, Ireland, and whover deserves the credit!!
