interesting. cant decide which one i like the best but i feel that quarless at TE would be a very good pick for us later in the draft..one of those players who would be better in the NFL than he was in college..and im currently in love with McCluster

1, 2, and 4 aren't going to happen. Cam Thomas will be a 2nd rounder, or he won't last for us in the 3rd.

maybe...but i can tell you the tape wasn't as consistent as he was yesterday so for me i don't take him before pick #74...barring a trade down maybe in the 2nd round late...

#4 would be the best. After that #2, #1, #3, #5. I really hope Cam Thomas will fall to us in the third.

Would love if our draft panned out like 4

I like #2 of the options, although I wouldnt draft a WR this season with so many good ones coming through next year.

I'd be addressing WR via FA and focussing on D, O-Line and maybe TE this year.

Whats your opinion on Andre Roberts hoops? Has been alot of positive feedback on him since the Senior Bowl.

roberts impressed me at the senior bowl...good hands ran i thought pretty good routes...doesn't look like a burner...

but i have to admit i hadn't seen anything of him on tape (the citadel) so that is something i'm going to try and pursue...

i've got him late just as an attempted steal...lol...that and i haven't had a chance to review anything of his...not sure i will be able to either...something tells me citadel stuff is gonna be hard to come by...

Read my EXACT thoughts. I keep wondering why does everyone think Thomas will get out of the 2nd round? Parcells is going to have to do a Pat White with Cam Thomas and pick him a little earlier than he'd like. I'd reserve the #43 pick for Thomas and use Cody as a plan B if Thomas is drafted before we pick at #43.

Thomas is the 2nd best NT in the entire draft after Dan Williams, can't see him last any later than pick #43.

cam thomas may not last to pick #74...but like i said i'm not just gonna bump a guy into the mid 2nd round off of what he did in an all star week competition...unless the tape justifies it...

and the tape wasn't as consistent as the play last week...thus barring a trade later in the late 2nd which i'm not sure about i stick with pick #74

I think it should be kept in mind that Tight End is a priority position that needs addressing. David Martin was a significant subtraction from the team and the free agent market at that position looks less than ideal.

IMO, we need to haul in a guy like Rob Gronkowski, Jermaine Gresham, Anthony McCoy, Dennis Pitta or yes, Jimmy Graham.

I was down on Pitta before but now that I've got a firsthand view of him and spoken with his Shrine position coach, I'm a lot more comfortable with him. His issues in blocking are strength related, and in the NFL players like him get stronger. He gets after it, he understands it, and he absorbs technique pointers. I think he is the most savvy pass catching Tight End in this draft, and he's got the best hands. There's a reason the guy has like 3,000 receiving yards.

I think it's natural to compare him with some other guys that have come out but I'm not sure they were quite as natural and fluid looking, smart players as Pitta is.
